BENEFITS FOR EXECUTIVES

Learn how EPAM, a company with CEE roots, has become a global player in its industry by listening to a talk and participating in Q&A and networking. The location of the second Salon - LOFFICE - was picked with a purpose: we want to get a fresh perspective from the startup and co-working community in Hungary.

BENEFITS FOR STARTUP COMPANIES

Gain insights into EPAM’s journey - how they scaled up from an innovative small company with roots in CEE to a NYSE listed public company, and became a recognized global player in their industry. Participate in the Q&A and network with Mr. Fejes to learn how to reach a score like the 8th place on Fortune's fastest growing 25 public IT companies list! After all, we all dream big, don’t we?

WHAT IS TEDxDANUBIA EXECUTIVE SALON?

The goal of the Salon is to connect real global and local business actors - not theorists - in a two-way discussion. A TED style talk will be followed by a Q&A and networking.

According to the Salon’s first speaker in January, Nani Beccalli, the GE top international veteran, globalization will continue to connect the world despite the current turmoil. We hosted 100 executives engaged in the conversation.

TEDxDanubia organises this event in partnership with the 6000-member Hungarian Economic Association this time in LOFFICE, a major co-working space in the historical part of Budapest. We strongly believe that executives need to interact with the emerging entrepreneur and startup community. We have limited seats for a meaningful conversation and networking.

ABOUT EPAM

EPAM is at the 8th place on Fortune's fastest growing 25 public IT companies list. Forrester Research named EPAM as a leader in Digital Platform Engineering space and Product Development Services market, and also included EPAM amongst the top ten largest Commerce solution providers globally.

EPAM Systems was founded in 1993. It is headquartered in the US, however it traces its roots in Central and Eastern Europe. As Mr. Fejes played a significant part from the beginning as a member of the company’s top leadership, we asked him to share his career story and provide some insights into EPAM’s journey as it scaled up from a start up to a NYSE listed public company and a recognized global player in its industry. Our strong belief is that similarly to Estonia, other countries in the CEE region can also become an innovation hub in the digital era. We believe Balazs Fejes (FB) is definitely someone we should know better in the CEE; we can learn from his story.
